Washington: US President Donald Trump on Friday announced a new visa ban on citizens of countries who are refusing or reprimanding their citizens during the Coronavirus global epidemic. President Trump issued a memorandum for visa restrictions which will come into force with immediate effect and will remain in force till 31 December this year.
Trump said in a memorandum that, "Countries that refuse to call their citizens or residents from the U.S. during the pandemic of the Coronavirus or are delayed without cause pose an unacceptable public health threat to Americans." are doing." In a memorandum addressed to the Minister of Home Security and the Foreign Minister, President Trump said that the US should send foreign citizens back to their countries who violate US laws.
In this process, the Home Security Minister will start the process, which will identify those countries, who did not accept the request of America to call their citizens home. After this, he will notify the Foreign Minister. The US President said that within 7 days of receiving such notification, the foreign minister will impose a visa ban on a country that is not calling back its citizens.
