Researchers report that nanowire detectors calculate photons so accurately that external noise does not affect them. In the future, chemical signals of life on other planets can be discovered using this camera in space-based telescopes. Especially dark matter can also be discovered with the new camera. It is believed that the entire universe is made of this dark matter.

NIST electronic engineer Varun Sharma said, 'My first inspiration for making the camera is NASA's original space telescope project. It analyzes the chemical composition of stars orbiting houses outside our solar system. Through this, an attempt is made to find the sources of life.'
