Washigton: America, the world's most powerful country, is now seen walking on the path of India. Recently, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo praised India's decision to ban Chinese app TikTok. Now America can also ban all Chinese apps including TikTok.
The US Secretary of State said on Monday that the US is definitely considering a 'ban on Chinese social media apps', including TikTok. Pompeo said this in an interview with Fox News. On the decision to ban 59 Chinese apps, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said, "these steps will boost national security and integrity. India's clean app approach will promote India's sovereignty, integrity, and national security."
After the ban on the Chinese app in India, the voice has started to do the same in America. Some MPs in America are supporting it. These MPs have requested the US government to consider it as it is believed that small video sharing apps are a serious threat to the security of any country. Republican MP Crow Crawford had said, "TikTok must go and ban it already."
