Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has sued for defamation. She is the first Hindu MP of America. Gabbard has demanded a compensation of 5 crores dollars (about 350 crores) from Hillary to tarnish her image. The Democrat MP alleged that Hillary tarnished her reputation by saying that she was Russia's choice in the 2020 presidential election.

This defamation suit was filed in a New York court on Wednesday. Gabbard, a member of the US House of Representatives in the lower house of parliament, told his supporters, "Hillary's intention to call me Russian property is to tarnish my image and derail my campaign for the presidency." 72-year-old Hillary said in an interview last October without naming Gabbard, "The Republican Party is preparing a Democratic contender as a third party candidate."
