Describing the epidemic coronavirus as exceptionally contagious and highly fatal, an Indian-American cardiologist advised West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to take precautions and be cautious. The doctor has written a letter sending this message to take all necessary steps in this case so that the rates of death due to this epidemic in the state can be stopped.

Talking about nationwide statistics, then the number of patients infected with the coronavirus is increasing continuously throughout the country. According to the data released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 3604 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours and 87 people have died. After this, the total number of corona positive cases across the country has risen to 70,756, out of which 46,008 are active, 22,455 people have become healthy or have been discharged from hospital and 2293 people have died.
