New Delhi: Former Congress national president and Member of Parliament from Wayanad Lok Sabha seat in Kerala, Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday lashed out at the Central government in the ongoing budget session in Parliament, during which he hit out at the Modi government, saying that it is because of the wrong policies of the Central government that China and Pakistan have come together today. When asked about Rahul Gandhi's allegation, US State Department spokesman Ned Price was asked, he replied, ''He does not support such a statement.''

To a question on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi 'suggesting that China & Pakistan are closer than ever due to PM Modi's ineffective policies', US Dept of State Spox Ned Price: I'll leave it to Pakistanis & PRC to speak to their relationship. In fact, former Congress president Rahul Gandhi had criticised the Indian government's foreign policy in the budget session of Parliament. Rahul Gandhi had accused the central government of "your policy" to unite China and Pakistan and is the biggest challenge before India. Rahul Gandhi had said, "China has a clear plan and its foundation is laid in Doklam and Ladakh.''
Rahul Gandhi also said that the Indian government has taken the wrong decision on Kashmir. Perhaps Rahul Gandhi's gesture was about the removal of Article 370. But in response to Rahul Gandhi's allegations, Ned Price said, "I'll leave it to Pakistanis & PRC to speak to their relationship. I certainly won't endorse those remarks.''Â
