Laal Singh Chaddha Actor Aamir Khan displayed the tricolor at his house in Mumbai on Friday to join the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. The campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav encourages people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist it to mark the 75th year of India's independence.

This year we are celebrating 75 Anniversary of India’s Independence and the grand celebration of Independence day. The Central government has urged people to hoist or display the tricolor in their homes from August 13 to 15. On Friday evening, Aamir was spotted standing on his balcony with his daughter Ira Khan. A tricolor could also be seen placed near the railing.

The film collected around â‚¹7 crores on Friday. The two-day total of the film would stand at around â‚¹19 crores at the domestic box office. It had clashed with Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan, which too recorded similar figures at the ticket counters.

Meanwhile, amid the Boycott trend and slow opening at Boxoffice, a complaint has also been filed against Laal Singh Chaddha and Aamir Khan over hurting religious sentiments and disrespecting the Hindu religion. According to an official source, advocate Vineet Jindal in his complaint to Delhi Police alleged that there was objectionable content in the movie. He sought registration of an FIR under sections 153 (wantonly giving provocation with intent to cause riot), 153A (promoting enmity between different groups), 298 (wounding the religious feelings of any person), and 505 (statements conducing to public mischief) of the IPC against the concerned parties.

The complaint also filed for hurting the Hindu religious sentiments, In the movie a person asks Aamir, “ I offer Namaz and pray, Laal, why don't you do the same?" and the latter replied, "my mother said all this puja paath is malaria. It causes riots."  "This statement shows his intent of waging war and activating enmity between different groups on the grounds of religion which is against the ideology of a secular democratic country like and also mischief against the Indian army which is a criminal offense as per the law of the land."
