Amid the Boycott Laal Singh Chaddha Trends, Aamir’s film has No buyers for OTT Release

Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha called for a Boycott because of Aamir and his family members' old statements. These trends affected Laal Singh Chaddha ‘s Boxoffice and the movie is now struggling in theatre. Various celebrities came in Aamir’s support and Various also criticized it. After Boxoffice Failure Aamir Khan Landed into the trouble as no buyer is ready is ready for OTT release of Laal Singh Chaddha.

As per a report, Aamir Khan was in talks with Netflix for the streaming rights of Laal Singh Chaddha.  But now it looks like the deal has fallen through. Before the release of the film, Aamir had quoted Rs 150 crore and asked for a six-month window as he planned to release the film in China too.

The reports further stated that the streaming giant had offered him Rs 50 crore and also urged him to reduce the 6-month window. Later the PK star revised his asking price to Rs 125 crore as he was confident that Laal Singh Chaddha will do well at the box office. But since the film did not do that well at the box office the streaming giant is said to have lost interest in acquiring it. Apparently, the makers of the film have not found any takers and now the studio that bankrolled the movie is planning to release it on a streaming platform of the group.

In 2015, Aamir Khan said that he felt ‘alarmed’ by the things happening in India. “When I chat with Kiran at home, she says, 'Should we move out of India?' That's a disastrous and big statement for Kiran to make. She fears for her child. She fears what the atmosphere around us will be. She feels scared to open the newspapers every day. That does indicate that there is this sense of growing disquiet, there is growing despondency apart from alarm.”  Due to his old statement. The movie called for Boycott and failed at Box office.
