Rumours says Amir Khan is going to be brand ambassador for the  key project of Maharashtra Government. Recently actor is replace from the face of “Incredible India”. Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis  is expected to give announcement  take Amir as a  face for Government’s project “Drought free Maharashtra” and promote a flagship irrigation system.

Because of the death of 3500 farmers last year government need to plan this. Government scheme aim at making 25000 villages drought free. During states cultural event “MAKE IN INDIA” Amir Khan was also side by the Chief Minister’s side but due to fire event need to be cancelled.

Amir’s contract with national tourism campaign was not renewed due to hugh controversy on Intolerance in the country.   Rumours said  Actor is punished for his statements but Union Minister Mahesh Sharma clarify that Amir is connected with campaign through ad agency McCann Erikson  who’s contract is get over with the government.

 At that time on the change Amir Says ,” It is the prerogative of the government to decide whether they need a brand ambassador for any campaign, and if so, who that ambassador should be. I respect  the decision of the government to discontinue with my services.”
