Kolkata: Today, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Trinamool Congress (TMC) staged a demonstration in Nandigram, the important seat of West Bengal. Union Home Minister Amit Shah did a road show in support of BJP candidate Shubhendu Adhikari.

Home Minister Amit Shah said "All the people I spoke with today said that there should be a change in Bengal, the path of this change will come out of Nandigram, if we defeat Mamata Banerjee elections, defeat Mamata Banerjee in Nandigram, the whole of Bengal Changes will come automatically, Nandigram is not untouched by the atmosphere in the whole of Bengal. Amit Shah said that "Today when I reached Nandigram, I received a sad news, where a woman was raped within five km radius of where Mamta Banerjee lives, I want to ask Mamta Banerjee that when the is being raped, what will happen to the safety of women"?.

Amit Shah further said that the mother of the BJP worker is beaten to death a few days ago, she too died yesterday and Mamta Didi herself talks about women's safety, this paradox is well known by the people of Bengal, The whole of Bengal does not want infiltration, the whole of Bengal wants refugees to get citizenship through CAA.
