New Delhi: In the Modi government 2.0, Home Minister Amit Shah flagged off the Vande Bharat Express going from Delhi to Katra on Thursday i.e. today. During this, Amit Shah also addressed the people. Prior to the event, Amit Shah, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal and several ministers were present on the Vande Bharat Express. However, the regular service of Vande Bharat Express will start from 5 October. After launching this train, about four hours of passengers will be saved.

At 9.50 am, Amit Shah flagged off the train. Minister of State for Railways Suresh C Angadi and Union Minister of State Dr. Jitendra Singh also left for Katra by Vande Bharat Express. During this, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that I am very happy that today I am dedicating this Vande Bharat Express built in the country to the devotees of Maa Vaishno Devi.

Railway Minister Piyush Goyal, who was present at the function, while addressing the program said that with the blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi, Vande Bharat Express is leaving for Katra during Navratri. Piyush Goyal said that the inauguration of Vande Bharat Express is a great example of what he wished for the development of Jammu and Kashmir. By August 15, 2022, the area from Kashmir to Kanyakumari will be connected by rail network.
