Srinagar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has reviewed the security situation in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. He called an important meeting today i.e. on Wednesday (October 5) morning, in which Lieutenant Governor (LG) Manoj Sinha and many other senior officers were also present. In particular, the DG of CRPF and BSF was also called in this meeting. Senior officials of the Jammu and Kashmir Police were also present at the meeting. In this meeting, Amit Shah took stock of the security situation after the removal of Article 370. It is being told that Amit Shah took stock of the increased atrocities of target killing in recent days and how to deal with them has also been talked about.

Amit Shah is also going to hold a rally in Baramulla today. Earlier on Tuesday, he had held a rally in Rajouri and announced reservation for the hill community during this time. Let us know that Amit Shah is on a visit to Jammu and Kashmir after a long time. In the last few months, the targeted killing of Kashmiri Pandits, and migrant workers has increased. This has also raised the concerns of the government. It is believed that in the meeting, Amit Shah talked about dealing with such incidents. On Tuesday night, Jail DG Hemant Lohia was also killed by his own servant Yasir Ahmed. However, there was no talk of target killing or terrorist attacks in the murder of this DG.

Let us tell you that a large number of people gathered at Amit Shah's rally in Rajouri. On this occasion, he had said that now the power of Jammu and Kashmir has been handed over to the hands of thirty thousand people ranging from three families. He said that the Modi government has conducted Panchayat elections and provided reservations to those sections, that have been backward and been hoping for their rights for a long time. Let us tell you that Amit Shah's rally in Rajouri was special in itself. In fact, this was the first time since 1991 that a home minister had held a rally in the Pir Panjal range.
