New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday met the West Bengal Corps Committee at his residence and explained the roadmap for party leaders to win 200 seats in the state. Amit Shah directed to launch a campaign to connect new workers at booth level. The chief's model prepared by Home Minister Amit Shah will also be implemented in West Bengal. The responsibility of bringing the names on each page of the voter list to the BJP's court will be given to one active worker.

According to sources, the meeting also discussed the issue of some MPs and MLAs who are angry with the Trinamool Congress (TMC) for their willingness to come to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The first core committee meeting to formulate a strategy for the West Bengal assembly elections was scheduled to be held at the party's central headquarters from 3 pm on Friday afternoon. Later on, the meeting was scheduled to be held at the residence of Home Minister Amit Shah. From 6 pm, all the major West Bengal BJP leaders arrived at Home Minister Amit Shah's house.

The meeting was attended by National Vice President Mukul Roy, National General Secretary and West Bengal BJP-in-charge Kailash Vijayvargiya, State President Dilip Ghosh, State Organization General Minister Amitabh Chakraborty.
