New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is celebrating its Foundation Day on April 6. All senior leaders including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh have greeted the party on its foundation day. PM Modi will address party workers online after some time on the special occasion. All party functionaries and workers will put up party flags at their homes. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was established on 6th April 1980.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah tweeted on foundation day, "Best wishes to all workers on BJP's foundation day. I bow to all the great men who made the BJP a huge banyan tree by sweating their blood. The BJP is constantly striving to make the country self-reliant under nationalist ideology, the principle of Antyodaya and Modi Ji.''
Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has also greeted the people on the party's foundation day. He tweeted, "Heartiest greetings to all workers and supporters on BJP's foundation day. The BJP is working for nation-building by taking all sections of the society into confidence. We are proud that Under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, India has been established as a strong and self-respecting country today."
