Lucknow: Home Minister Amit Shah recently laid the foundation stone of forensic science institute in Lucknow. He praised Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and said, "Under Yogi's leadership, the state is moving fast on the path of development. Yogi is the most successful Chief Minister of the state so far. People were migrating from western UP before the BJP government came to power in the state in 2017. The state was in riots but after four years of rule, the rule of law and order has been established in Uttar Pradesh.''

At the same time, he said, "We promised that when our Government comes, we will establish the rule of law. The State Government has achieved success in this direction. I remember the earlier UP properly, women were unsafe, bullets were fired in broad daylight. There was a mafia rule in the state. Today, when I stand in UP in 2021, I proudly say that Yogi Adityanath worked to take Uttar Pradesh forward.''

Amit Shah further said, "As elections come in UP, leaders come out of the house and make statements. These leaders do not help the people who are struggling during the corona. They do not work in the difficulties of the farmers, but they get into rhetoric as soon as the elections come. The BJP has established the rule of law in Uttar Pradesh. It has worked to take the state on the path of development. I want to ask him that the Leader of the opposition should once again make up his mind for a crushing defeat in 2022. The BJP is going to form the government here again with a huge majority.''

During this period, CM Yogi was also present and while speaking on law and order, he said, "Before 2017, Uttar Pradesh was considered a state of riots, occupied by mafias. The change that has taken place in Uttar Pradesh within four years is because of the Home Minister. The change that has taken place in Uttar Pradesh is not hidden from anyone. Uttar Pradesh Police now seems to be functioning afresh. 15.84 crore was seized from professional mafias and gangsters in Uttar Pradesh. Today, there is an atmosphere of fear among the mafia. Today, women are safe and citizens are safe inside Uttar Pradesh.''
