Amit Shah calls Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray over Palghar lynching that killed 3

Mumbai: Three people, including two sadhus of Juna Akhara, were beaten to death by a mob in a village in Palghar district of Maharashtra. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has discussed the phone with Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray on Monday about this incident. Earlier, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath had also asked Uddhav to take strict action against the culprits after holding talks.

 Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad President Mahant Narendra Giri has threatened to agitate against the Uddhav government. Whereas Hanumangarhi priest Raju Das has sat on a dharna after the case. Apart from this, the police have suspended two policemen regarding the incident. Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has spoken to Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday evening regarding the Palghar incident.

Giving information about this, CM Yogi wrote that, in connection with the killing of Saints Swami Kalpavriksha Giri Ji, Swami Sushil Giri Ji and his driver Nilesh Telgade Ji in Palghar, Maharashtra yesterday, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Uddhav Thackeray ji Spoke and urged for strict action against the responsible elements of the incident.
