Vadodara: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is going to visit Vadodara on February 21. In Vadodara, Amit Shah will inaugurate the Sursagar Pond and take part in the Mahaarti of Shiva. In the wake of Union Home Minister Amit Shah's visit to Vadodara, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Nalin Upadhyay issued a notification warning against any encroachment along the ridge around the Sursagar pond.

With this, it is advised not to throw garbage in the Sursagar pond. The municipal commissioner has warned of legal action for violation of the order. Before the arrival of Home Minister Amit Shah, Vadodara police has been engaged in security arrangements. During the visit of Amit Shah, 1000 security personnel will be deployed at Sursagar Pond and a police control room will also be started. 100 highrise points will be arranged around the Sursagar pond.
