The Court, while adjourning the hearing till 28 March, directed the Investigating Officer, Ajay Kumar Bassi to appear in the court on the next date of hearing to explain the case diary made by him during his investigation period.

Before the court, the former CBI special director Rakesh Asthana indulged in the CBI's investigation in the corruption case involving involvement. The court wanted to know why the accused, who have a big role in the case, are roaming free while the CBI arrested their own DSP. Asthana and DSP Devendra Kumar were arrested in 2018 and were later granted bail. Due to not enough evidence to make both accused in the case, their names were written in column 12 of the charge sheet.
