New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday appealed to the countrymen to make the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign launched by PM Narendra Modi a success by hoisting the tricolour at their homes between August 13-15 during the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. The campaign has been launched by the government on the 75th anniversary of the country's independence.

https://t.co/xVX0YHqnSK
In a series of tweets, Amit Shah said that PM Modi has started this campaign in view of the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav'. In his tweet, he wrote, "Our national flag tricolour not only unites every countryman but also reinforces the spirit of dedication to the nation in us. On July 22, 1947, it was announced that the current form of the tricolour would be adopted as the national flag.'' Shah further wrote, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji has launched the #HarGharTiranga campaign in this Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. With this campaign, the tricolour will be hoisted on about 20 crore houses across the country, which will work to further deepen the unbroken flame of patriotism in the minds of every citizen, especially the youth.''
In another tweet, the Home Minister wrote, "I appeal to all to join this campaign by hoisting the tricolour at their homes from August 13 to 15. This will further increase the respect and connection with the tricolour among our younger generation and also tell them about the sacrifice of the heroes who struggled for freedom.''
