Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national chief Amit Shah, who was admitted to AIIMS on Wednesday for swine flu treatment, and as per party source report on  Thursday, now he is doing well and will be discharged in a day or two,

The party's media head and Rajya Sabha member, Anil Baluni, said that "National President of BJP, Amit Shah ji, is doing well. He will be discharged in a day or two.” He also conveys his thanks to everyone for their good wishes.

Swine flu is a respiratory disease caused by H1N1 influenza. The symptoms of the disease are similar to those of seasonal flu and include fever, cough, sore throat, body aches and chills

Shah had informed about his illness with a tweet on Wednesday. He was diagnosed with swine flu. Doctors team are monitoring his condition under the supervision of AIIMS director Randeep Guleria,.

Home Minister Rajnath Singh was among the first ones who react and tweeted for Amit Shah speedy recovery.

The BJP going to launch its election campaign in West Bengal with a series of rallies by Amit Shah. the first rally is expected to be held in Malda on January 20, a day after Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's mega show. But it marked to be seen if the BJP chief will be up and recovered by then.
