Jammu: Big developments are taking place day by day on the issue of Jammu and Kashmir. After the release of the film Kashmir Files, the news on the Valley has intensified. Meanwhile, Home Minister Amit Shah has made a big statement on the deployment of security forces in Jammu and Kashmir. On the 83rd Foundation Day of the CRPF on Saturday, Home Minister Shah attended a function in Jammu. Due to this, he said that there may not be a need for CRPF in Jammu and Kashmir in the coming years.

At the same time, Home Minister Shah praised the role of CRPF in Jammu and Kashmir. He said the CRPF has not only played an important role in fighting terrorism in the Valley, but has also worked to strengthen the law and order situation. The CRPF has done a great job in Jammu and Kashmir, North East and Naxal affected areas. I am confident that in the coming few years, there will be no need for CRPF in these three areas. All credit for this will go to the CRPF.

Praising the CRPF, Shah said that in the last few years, Jammu and Kashmir have seen a major improvement in security arrangements. Addressing the CRPF soldiers, he discussed the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A. He said that this has benefited the common people of Jammu and Kashmir. This is the first time that the CRPF Foundation Day event was held in Jammu and Kashmir outside the national capital Delhi. Addressing the CRPF soldiers, Amit Shah said, "I wish the CRPF jawans and their families the best. I pay homage to the martyrs of CRPF. The CRPF Foundation Day programme is being organised in the historic city of Jammu. I want to first bow to Mata Vaishno Devi.'' Amit Shah said that Jammu is the place where Pt. Prem Nath Dogra and Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee launched the movement for one nation, one flag, one constitution. We are happy that we were able to fulfil the dreams of Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee.
