Amitabh Bachchan has tweeted from his Twitter handle and announced this. He has shared a photo of him with a small green coloured ribbon on his coat. While sharing this photo, Amitabh wrote, "I am a pledged ORGAN DONOR .. I wear the green ribbon of its sanctity." In response to Amitabh's tweets, a lot of people have shared their own certificates after donations and have explained how they have also donated their organs. There are some who have been influenced by Amitabh and have spoken of donating their organs. In the meantime, a user tweeted and said that Amitabh's organs could not be transplanted to anyone.
The user wrote, "Sir, you have hepatitis B. Your organs cannot be transplanted to any other person. In addition, you have transplanted your own liver. I appreciate your decision to donate organs and save the lives of others, but I am sorry that you cannot scientifically donate organ". Amitabh has recently made a comeback on the small screen.
