Actor Sonu Sood had emerged as a saviour for migrant labourers amidst lockdown. After sending more than 20,000 migrant labourers back to their home, Sonu was working to help every needy and poor day and night. Keeping in view the noble work of Sonu Sood, he has been honoured by UNDP with special humanitarian action award. Sonu Sood was honoured in a virtual ceremony on Monday evening. Media reports that before Sonny Sood, stars like Angelina Jolie, David Bayless, Leonardo DiCaprio, Emma Watson has been included in this list. This is a highly respected award.

Most surprisingly, the grand hero of the century, Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, versatile actor Ayushmann Khurrana, has also done a lot of work for UNICEF, but none of them have been honoured with this honour and Sonu Sood is the only male actor in Bollywood who has received this award. According to media reports, not only Bollywood but the entire country is felicitating him for this honour on social media. Sonu is also being greeted on Twitter. Sonu shared this happiness with all his fans and wrote, "This honour is very special.  I just did that, but it is a matter of pride for me to get this kind of respect".

There are many endorsments that have signed Sonu for their product. On the one hand, many Bollywood stars remain in the headlines for being involved in drugs, while Sonu Sood has been called the saviour of migrant labourers.
