Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has also become one of the highest tax payers in Hindi Film Industry, once again. The actor has paid a whopping tax of Rs 70 Crores for the financial year 2018-2019. Big B’s spokesperson confirmed the news and stated, "Yes, Mr Bachchan has paid 70 crore tax for the financial year 2018-19."

According to ro report, Big B has also paid off loans of 2084 farmers in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. The actor has also donated 10 lakh Rupees to each family of the 50 Martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

The report also suggests that he has asked the Government of India for the address and contact details of the families of the Pulwama brave heart martyrs to directly give the funds.

Meanwhile, on work front, Bachchan's latest release is minting money on the cash registers. Badla which released on March 8 has minted Rs Rs 101.5 crores globally.Made on a shoestring budget of 10 crores, the movie has turned out to be blockbuster. It is the second hit given by Big B and Taapsee Pannu. Big B has a host of films lined up on his slate, including the fantasy epic 'Brahmastra', which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles, and director Nagraj Manjule’s Hindi debut, 'Jhund'.
