Within a few days of its debut, Kaun Banega Crorepati 14 gained a lot of popularity, and viewers are enjoying the contestants' hosting talents. One of the draws of the quiz show is Amitabh Bachchan's interactions with Kaun Banega Crorepati contestants. In the most recent, the veteran actor was baffled when a contestant refused to give her husband anything with her prize money. She also broached the subject of her husband with the host, who attempted to persuade her to give him a gift.
A dermatologist from Bengaluru named Dr. Anu Varghese won a spot on the hot seat in Kaun Banega Crorepati's 14th season. Her on-screen partner's husband sat in the audience supporting her while she competed. Dr. Anu crossed the enormous Rs. 75 lakh "padaav" in a recently released episode promo, but she declared she wouldn't give anything to her husband.
Amitabh congratulated Dr. Anu on winning the 50 lakh question and inquired about what she would buy her husband with the winnings at the beginning of the promo. He seemed shocked when she replied, "Nothing." Another scene from the episode showed Amitabh congratulating her on the "unbelievable" victory on the question worth 75 lakh rupees as her husband and other audience members stood and clapped.
After winning an even larger sum, Amitabh once more asked her if she wouldn't give her husband anything, and she responded, "Sir wo khud mujhe gift nahi dete na (It's because he never gives me a gift)" Amitabh left the audience hanging by quizzing the contestant for a chance to win one crore rupees at the end of the promo. This season's top prize on KBC is 7.5 crore.
