Mumbai: Amruta Fadnavis, the wife of BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis, who became the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, has made a big revelation about him. Amruta has given information about how Devendra Fadnavis was quietly active amid the revolt of the Eknath Shinde faction and the crisis over the Uddhav government.
She has said that Devendra Fadnavis often used to leave at night by changing his attire and many times he was seen in such a costume that I could not recognize him. Amruta Fadnavis has said, "Devendra used to change clothes at night and go to meet Eknath Shinde. He used to leave the house wearing different clothes and a big goggle on his eyes. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde himself had also said during his speech in the assembly that during the power struggle, when all the MLAs were sleeping, he used to go to meet Devendra Fadnavis.
Now Amruta Fadnavis has made a big revelation going even further than that. Amruta has also told that Devendra used to change his dress at night and go to meet Eknath Shinde. Amruta Fadnavis said, "Devendra usually works till late at night.'' In the meantime, he used to leave the house wearing a jacket. He wore glasses, etc. Sometimes I don't even recognize them. But I knew so much that something big was going on. Amruta Fadnavis said, "We all heard CM Eknath Shinde's speech. This shows how much unrest there was among the MLAs.'' In such a situation, somewhere that unrest was about to spread and its impact has been shown in the form of the disintegration of the Shiv Sena and the departure of the Uddhav government.
