Amul Milk prices hiked by Rs 3 per litre

The  GCMMF (Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation), has hiked the prices of Amul pouch milk by Rs 3/-  per litre across all variants. 

The GCMMF released a statement saying, "We would like to inform you that the price of Amul pouch milk, all variants, has been raised upwards as under effectrive from February 2, 2023 night dispatch (February 3, 2023 morning)," 

After the revision, the price of Amul Taaza 500 ml will be Rs 27, the price of Amul Taaza at Rs 54 per litre, the price of Amul Taaza at Rs 108 for two litres, the price of Amul Taaza at Rs 324, the price of Amul Taaza at Rs 10, the price of Amul Gold 500 ml at Rs 33, the price of Amul Gold at Rs 66 per litre, the price of Amul Gold at Rs 396, the price All states, with the exception of Gujarat, saw price increases of Rs 2 per litre for both buffalo milk and Amul Gold (full cream) in October of last year.

Mother Dairy followed Amul in raising the price of full cream milk and cow milk by Rs 2 per litre each throughout the Delhi-NCR region in response to rising input costs. According to a Mother Dairy representative, the decision was made as a result of the continuous increase in raw material prices over the previous two months. "Due to a multifold increase in various input costs, the dairy industry has been facing a steady rise in the price of raw milk, which has grown by around Rs. 3 per kilogramme just in the last two months. Low rainfall in certain northern states and rising fodder prices have made things worse "the statement added.
