Restoration and renovation of the ancestral homes of veteran Bollywood actors Dilip Kumar and Raj Kapoor have been started in Peshawar after the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government seized properties. This has been reported recently. You must be aware that Raj Kapoor's ancestral house is known as Kapoor Haveli and Dilip Kumar's ancestral house is in the Kissa Khwani Bazar area of Peshawar. According to the government's plan, the houses of both the Bollywood stars will be restored to their original status.

The repair work is said to have been started by removing debris from both houses initially. Meanwhile, Dilip Kumar's nephew Fawad Ishaq lauded the government's decision to restore his uncle and Raj Kapoor's ancestral home. Recently, he said, "Dilip Kumar's attachment to Peshawar has never diminished.'' Tell all of you that Raj Kapoor's ancestral home is known as Kapoor Haveli, which is located in Kisa Khwani Bazaar. It was created between 1918 and 1922 by Diwan Basheshwarnath Kapoor, the grandfather of the famous actor.

You must be aware that Raj Kapoor and his uncle Trilok Kapoor were born in this house and it has been declared a national heritage by the provincial government. The 100-year-old ancestral home of late actor Dilip Kumar is also located in the same locality and is dilapidated and was declared a national heritage by the then Chief Minister Nawaz Sharif government in 2014.
