The corona epidemic has created panic across the country and the death of 14 corona patients at a government hospital in Andhra Pradesh on Saturday created a ruckus. The patients are said to have lost their lives due to lack of oxygen. However, the administration dismissed it as a rumor. After the death of corona patients, the Collector also visited the hospital and said that an inquiry has been initiated against those spreading rumors about oxygen supply.

The incident took place at a government hospital in Anantapur. Joint collector Nishant Kumar who arrived here said "Our team has inspected the oxygen plant. We also visited the ward and checked every line and valve thoroughly. There is no leakage. The pressure of the oxygen plant is also correct. There is no problem in supply."

The deaths today have no connection to oxygen, he said. Today, there have been a total of 15 deaths. All the people who died were older and already had serious diseases. So, these deaths are not due to oxygen. We have personally checked. It is not correct that these deaths have taken place due to lack of oxygen. Unfortunately, it is true that the number of deaths is high, but it is not due to a lack of oxygen. Most of the patients who died had complaints such as diabetes, heart problems, and cardiac arrest.
