Andhra CM Chandrababu Naidu emphasizes on digitization

Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh) [India], Dec 13 (NT): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday uttered the importance of digitization and urged the state officials to work towards its implementation in all departments.

Throughout a meeting with the HoDs, secretaries and ministers, the chief minister asserted digitization is important to realize a premeditated plan and to make sure that the full potential of the governance can be achieved.

"We are paid for helping the people. Not just the Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP), but every act display is similarly important to the development of the state," CM stated.

The officers presented the benchmarks for each department, including global indicators and targets for 2019, 2022 and 2029.

The chief minister stressed on that the objectives of the state is to attain 80 percent happiness or satisfaction levels in the coming years.

As per the Global Competitive Index, Andhra Pradesh has recorded the 36th rank, while India is scored at the 39th rank.

According to the report of the Happiness Index, India has honored the 122nd rank, and proportionately, Andhra Pradesh is secured at 74th rank.
