Andhra Pradesh CM, Naidu orders CRDA to beautify Krishna river

N. Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, has ordered the officials of Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) to make efforts and make the Krishna river bunds downstream Prakasam Barrage beautiful in Vijayawada.

The Chief Minister suggested the CRDA officials to commence constructing a platform and a national flag at the central point of the river bed.

He said that the Krishna river sides should provide people, a place to relax.

The CM was in Amravati and was addressing a review meeting, when he asserted, "Proposals should be prepared to beautify the bunds of Krishna River and three canals passing through the city."

 

The president of business leaders' forum, Ram Buxani from UAE has offered to build two islands on Krishna River. The forum of Ministry of Economy UAE and the Indian Embassy and Consulate General in UAE have proposed the government regarding the development of PGA state Golf Court, Hotel complex, Convention center, recreation villas and apartments in an area of about 500 acres considering both the islands.

 

The Chief Minister has kept his peace of advice in front of them and has asked them for their suggestions upon the same.
