Vijayawada:  Corona has affected life to a great extent. In such a situation, people still feel safe to stay in their homes. During this time, schools and colleges are all closed. Apart from this, from restaurants to temples, it is still closed at many places. Now among all these, CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of Andhra Pradesh has given the green signal for the recruitment of Assistant Professors in various universities. Recently, he said in a meeting that colleges will be opened across the state from October 15.

Yes, he held a review meeting with higher officials on higher education policy in the state. During this time, CM Jagan has taken many important decisions. In the meeting, he has given orders to the officials to take up to 80 percent gross enrollment in higher education. Apart from this, the Chief Minister informed that 10 months apprenticeship facility will be given in degree courses of three and four years. At the same time, he also said that after one year, emphasis should be laid on arranging skill development and teaching of courses providing employment. According to him, honors degree will be started only after this process.

In the same meeting, he also said that the colleges will open from August 15. At the same time, set examinations will also be held in the month of September. Further informing about the establishment of universities in Vizianagaram and Prakasam district, the CM asked the officials to take strict action against the colleges involved in illegal activities. He has ordered about this. Apart from this, higher officials of the department including education minister Adimulapu Suresh also participated in the meeting.
