Former Andhra Pradesh MLA dies due to coronavirus

Amravati: In view of the growing corona cases, the Government of Andhra Pradesh is constantly trying to prevent it. CPM leader and former MLA of Bhadrachalam Sunnam Rajayya has died of coronavirus. He was admitted for medical treatment to the hospital in Vijayawada on Monday, but he could not survive.

During his treatment, he breathed his last on the same day. Not only this, but he was suffering from fever for a long time. On Monday, he had a corona test in Bhadrachalam after having a fever. After that, his test report came positive. Now after his death, according to the COVID Rules, the last rites have been performed at Sunnamvarigudem in VRPuram Mandal in East Godavari district.

Tehsildar N Sridhar gave information about this. Rajayya won the election for MLA post in the year 1999, 2004 and 2014 with CPM ticket from Bhadrachalam assembly constituency in United Andhra Pradesh. He contested as a CPM candidate from Rampachodavaram in the last assembly elections, but he lost. Apart from this, former MLA Sunnam Rajayya is survived by mother Kannamma, wife Chukkamma, two daughters and two sons and her death was mourned by CPM, CPI, New Democracy Party leaders.
