The figures for coronavirus positive cases are increasing day by day in the state. Infected include frontline warriors such as doctors, nurses, and other health workers along with the general public. Even the public representatives are infected by this virus. Already several MLAs from the ruling YSR Congress party in the AP have been infected by the corona and also recovered. Recently, Power and Forests Minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy was infected with the coronavirus. He is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad. He has been suffering from high fever for a few days.

While he was staying in Hyderabad, he underwent corona tests as he was having mild fever. Initially, there was a negative report. Once again his samples were collected and tested as the fever did not subside, so the report turned out to be positive. Doctors confirmed that he was infected with the coronavirus. He was rushed to a private hospital in Hyderabad. He said that he was in good health at the moment and that party leader, activists and fans should not be worried.

Doctors said he was in the early stages of Corona. So far, several public representatives of the YSR Congress party are infected with the virus. Prakasam district MLA Karanam Balaramakrishnamurthy and his son Karanam Venkatesh have been infected with the virus. Giddaluru MLA Anna Rambabu of the same district and his wife Corona were confirmed as corona positive. Kadapa Deputy Chief Minister Anjad Basha and Deputy Speaker Kona Raghupathi are suffering from the virus.
