Amaravati:The Andhra Pradesh government has included the leader of the opposition and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national president Nara Chandrababu Naidu in the state security commission. The state government has revised the previous government order issued on October 10 on the commission, which now includes Naidu.
"In accordance with the directions of the Supreme Court of India, the AP Governor will make the following amendment to the state safety commission regulations," the revised order said. The Commission is headed by state Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharita and they are also represented by leader of the opposition in the Assembly.
Other members include the Chief Secretary, Director General of Police (DGP) and five prominent persons. Out of five, at least one person should be from the weaker sections.
