Visakhapatnam: Employment has become a big question for the general public during the corona period. The unemployment rate in the country is rising rapidly. Meanwhile, the Andhra Pradesh government has launched a new policy for the Information Technology (IT) sector. The government expects this policy to create a large number of jobs in the coming 3 years. The state cabinet led by CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has also sealed it.
Andhra Pradesh's Jagan Mohan government on Wednesday introduced the new Andhra Pradesh Information Technology Policy 2021-24, which is expected to create 55,000 jobs in the IT sector in the next 3 years. If this happens, it will fulfill the dream of thousands of engineers between the corona period. The government says it will transform its IT, the Department of Electronics and Communication, into a revenue center and work towards achieving autonomy.
According to the policy note, this will provide direct employment to thousands of people. The government also aims to create more than 1.65 lakh indirect jobs. The state government will therefore develop the entire ecosystem by adopting a holistic approach.
