Visakhapatnam: Lockdown has been declared in the entire country to deal with the coronavirus crisis. At the same time, with the extension of the lockdown for two weeks, the central government has relaxed some. In these concessions, liquor shops have been allowed to open. Meanwhile, the Andhra Pradesh government has announced an increase in the prices of alcohol.

The Andhra Pradesh government has announced a 25 percent increase in alcohol prices. The government says that this increase is aimed at controlling the crowd in liquor shops. At the same time, Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy held a review meeting about the steps taken on the coronavirus and the plan to end the lockdown. He also said that steps have been taken to implement liquor ban more strictly in the state.

With this, a decision has been taken to reduce the number of liquor shops in the state. According to the guidelines of the Central Government, liquor shops have been asked to open at an increased cost. Along with this, shops have been instructed to maintain social distancing and follow lockdown.
