Recently the Jagan government of Andhra Pradesh has taken an important decision to provide financial assistance to weavers and lawyers. Under this, they have decided to provide financial assistance of Rs 24 thousand per year to the weavers.

This financial assistance will be given to the weavers from 21 December under the YSR Netanna Nestam scheme. Apart from this, junior lawyers of the state will also be given financial assistance of Rs 5000 per month. Along with this, financial assistance will also be provided to fishermen. The fishermen will be given Rs. 10 thousand as aid every year. This financial assistance will be given to fishermen during the months when fishing is banned.

Earlier, Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy announced financial assistance of Rs 10,000 to auto and taxi drivers, Rs 13500 to farmers and Rs 15,000 to mothers who send children to school. Also, the Jagan government has announced to build 25 lakh houses for the poor. The government aims to start the process of distributing houses to the poor by the Ugadi festival next year.
