In this regard, the officials said, "The inflow of flood recorded at Prakasam Barrage at 8 am is 3,13,834 cusecs and the outflow is 3,01,056 cusecs".

According to the information received, the officials lifted 70 gates of the barrage and the water has been released into the sea. In addition, 10,356 cusecs of water has been released through the eastern and western canals. Due to this, the authorities have also alerted the people of the low-lying areas. At this time, the flow of flood is continuously increasing.

In this regard, the officials said that the flood water is likely to increase by three lakh cusecs tonight (Sunday). With this, the flow of flood increases up to 3.97 lakh cusecs, so it has been said to issue the first warning. According to the news, people mainly from low-lying areas of the river- Ranadivinagar, Bhupesh Gupta Nagar, Tarakaramnagar, Bhawanipuram, Vidyapuram area have been alerted.
