Despite making a massive scoe of 205 runs the team got defeat by wickets and its Andre Russell who gots the credit for playing a heroic inning for Kolkata Knight riders.Russell was adjudged the man of the match for his sensational batting performance against Royal Challengers Bangalore. KKR needed an improbable 67 runs to win in 26 balls at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. But what followed was absolute carnage from Russell. After scoring just 1 run in his first 4 balls, Russell unleashed a storm. His next nine scoring shots read - 6,6,6,1,6,6,6,4,6 as KKR won the match with 5 balls to spare.
