Joe Root has continued his domination and scored 218 off 377 against India before being dismissed by Shahbaz Nadeem. With this brillliant knock, he became first batsman to score a double-century in his 100th Test match, Root now also leads the charts when it comes to scoring most runs in the first 100 matches. Joe Root is being praised by everyone. Former England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff also lauded Root in a unique way and took a dig at Bollywood legend, Amitabh Bachchan, by quoting his tweet from 2016. The megastar who tweets on cricket regularly, was quite active on social media during the 2016 T20 World Cup and had also replied to Flintoff's tweet, where he had taken a dig at Kohli. In response, Bachchan had written: "@flintoff11@imVkohli@root66@englandcricket Root who ? Jadd Se Ukhad Denge Root ko ..!!!one."
In the first test match, England decided against declaring by the end of the first day and their batsmen will look to take the score past the 600 run-mark. On the other hand, the Indian bowlers will aim to get the remainder of two wickets at the earliest.
