Google has officially launched Android 12 operating systems and the company has also launched the Android Open Source Project. State that the company first unveiled Android 12 in the event Google I/O 2021 held in May and released its beta version. Since then users have been waiting for its launch and now the company has finally officially introduced Android 12. The company reported in its blog post that more than 225,000 users used its beta version.

Google said that first Google Pixel smartphone will get Android 12 updates. The company will start rolling out new OS updates for the Pixel series of smartphones in the coming few weeks. However, its date is yet to be disclosed. Similarly, some smartphone companies are also preparing to introduce smartphones based on Android 12 OS in the market.

Users will also get to see new designs and many customized features. The company has also redesigned Gmail, Calendar, Google Meet and Docs. Android 12 will also show users changes to the widget and has a new private dashboard that will tell you when the data was accessed. Users can also cancel permissions from the Direct Dashboard. Quick Settings will have two new features, one can disabled the camera by tapping while the other works for the microphone.
