Famous Bengali actor and lyricist Anindya Chatterjee is one of the famous and talented personality of the industry. Recently, he is excited and eagerly waiting to start shooting for Subhrajit Mitra’s forthcoming film titled Maya Mrigaya. This upcoming film is based on famous poet Rabindranath Tagore’s novel, Dui Bon, which was first published in 1933. Dui Bon is among one of the famous novel of Tagore.

Anindya is going to play the character of ‘Nirod’ in the upcoming film. Talking about the film, he said that the audience will see me in a different look. My character is of 1930s and my look is typically like a Bengali babu. H further said, "I am very happy that Subhrajitda thought that I could pull off this important character in a period drama. The shooting was abut to start from January but it was postponed for some time."

For preparing himself according to the role, the actor is reading the novel and understanding the nuances of the character. Apart from his upcoming film, Anindya is also in the headlines due to his fitness and daily workout. Talking about work front, he is also shooting for the film, Burning Butterflies. This film is a psychological thriller and directed by Shailik Bhowmik. It also feature actors like Saurav Das, Saurav Chakraborty and Deboprasad Haldar.
