The ‘Largest Online Photo Album of People Planting Plants' has been certified by Guinness World Records, according to Hero MotoCorp. Images of 132,775 volunteers planting plants were received as part of its ‘Hero Green Drive' program, setting a new record.

On September 21, 2021, the world record for the ‘Largest Photo Album of People Planting Plants' was revealed to commemorate International Zero Emissions Day. The world record attempt was virtually seen by the Guinness World Records Adjudicator. Hero MotoCorp, India's largest two-wheeler manufacturer, claimed it is the company's second straight global record, having previously set the Guinness World Record for producing the "Largest Motorcycle Logo" in August 2021. At the company's factory located in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, 1845 units of Splendor were utilized to create the logo.

“The year 2021 began with a lot of enthusiasm as we celebrated the momentous milestone of 100 million total sales,” Malo Le Masson, Head of Global Product Planning and Strategy, Hero MotoCorp, stated. Since then, we've celebrated a number of significant milestones, including the Hero Brand's tenth anniversary, Guinness World Records for the Largest Motorcycle Logo, record sales of one lakh units in a single day, and now the Guinness World Record title for the 'Largest Online Photo Album of People Planting Plants,' with 137,775 plants planted and photographed. We have demonstrated through this record that Hero MotoCorp is committed to making our world greener while adhering to strict covid-19 protocols."
