According to the information received, the university has made several changes in the rules to prevent misuse of examination copies. As per the new rules, an answer sheet with a printed bar code will be found on campus during the paper. The bar codes entered on the copies will be linked to the roll numbers of the students and the colleges. Secret code will also be printed inside the answer sheet. Copies will not be changed with this system. Also, empty copies can be easily traced by using them elsewhere. The examination committee has issued a directive for this change.
According to the spokesperson, 60 lakh answer sheets are used every year in the university in various examinations. During the exam, the answer sheet will be printed in two places in the answer sheet which students will get. In this bar code, all the information of the students, year and college details will also be available. With the answer sheet having a bar code, these copies can be sent directly from the university centers to the evaluation centers. In this process, time will be saved for applying separate bar codes and evaluation will be done quickly.
