Mumbai, After suffering from pancreatitis, music director Anu Malik has been hospitalised. Malik's daughter Anmol said, "He was in acute pain in the abdomen on (last) Tuesday morning and in the night he was admitted in the Lilavati Hospital. He underwent surgery for pancreatitis on Friday".
On thursday, the 55-year-old music director-singer is likely to be discharged.
Malik's wife Anju posted a picture of the 55-year-old singer alongside his mother and sister on her Facebook page. Malik made his debut as a composer in 1977.
He has composed music for over 350 different kind of films. Some of his popular songs are "Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhen", "Oonchi Hai Building", "East or West India is the Best", "Garam Chaye Ki Pyali," "Gori Gori" and others.
