Demonstrations against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) have been seen in Jamia Millia Islamia for a long time in Delhi. Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap reached Jamia on Friday where he spoke openly. He said, "You are dealing with the government of the way which is doing different deals with your own people." He further said, "I have come for the first time in Jamia. At first, it seemed that we had died. After coming here, we felt that we are alive. Seeing a movement, it seems that we are alive. Sheep cannot go inside like goats. For me, this movement started from Jamia. This battle is very long. Tomorrow, it cannot end with the day after tomorrow or elections."

He continued saying, "We do not believe what the Home Minister does. We believe in what you do. People who are not saying anything are with you in your silence. I only speak about my heart. They are afraid why you are not a spokesperson. They don't know love, they know the language of violence. Seeing the courage of you guys, I came back on Twitter. I left everyone in the condition of everyone. You are dealing with the government of the way, who are doing different deals with their own people."

Anurag further said, "They give the contraceptory statement. They said they will not bring the bill. Then said that we will talk in three days. They talk the same where they are. I don't listen anymore. As long as our fight is true. We do not know what this movement will take. It is a monologue, not a dialogue. One sided thing happens. Our security is the work of a home minister. The media has done a lot of damage to us. The media has become his speaker. The police need to do their job. The police need to find out who those people were." Anurag Kashyap also reached Shaheen Bagh after Jamia. In Shaheen Bagh, Anurag Kashyap said, "This fight will go long. I do not believe them. They don't do what they say. There is a stubborn and illiterate government."
