Talking about the rhetoric that took place during the Delhi Assembly elections, Swara said, "Hateful and Gundai language statements have been made and issues have not been discussed. I have liked the current speech and I also think that this dialogue can be heard in films very soon. Rather, he was talking about stopping a path which has happened many times in India. CAA NRC law is completely wrong. This is a bad scheme of the central government. There is an appeal to my government that the government should take it back." Swara said that there are many other issues in the country. The government needs to work on unemployment and education.

Swara further said, "The manner in which students were attacked in JNU, if it had happened in Kashmir, it is called terrorism. It has been 45 days so far and the police has not arrested any attackers, but the Delhi Police had reached to arrest Sharajeel Imam. I think Shaheen Bagh was made an issue to polarize. I think a lot of technology is failing."
