New Delhi: Ramdas Athawale, a minister in the Modi government, has demanded the arrest of filmmaker Anurag Kashyap. Talking to presspersons, Athawale said that Mumbai Police is working under pressure. Anurag Kashyap should be arrested immediately. Athawale claimed in relation to actor Sushant Singh Rajput's ex-manager Disha Salian, that she had been killed.

Union Minister Athawale has said that "Why would Disha commit suicide if Disha organised a party at home? Disha is being murdered. If she committed suicide then why didn't she leave a suicide note? He also claimed that those who murdered Disha can be related to Sushant case. The plot to kill was going on in the film industry. Athawale has demanded a CBI inquiry into the Disha Salian suicide case".

During the discussion on the Agriculture Bill in the Upper House, Athawale said that the opposition MPs have violated the dignity of the Parliament. Athawale called them hooligans. He said that the Parliament has been insulted yesterday. New laws should be enacted to cancel their membership. The agriculture bills are for the benefit of farmers. If farmers have expressed faith, PM Modi will take good care of them.
