Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are among one of the most loved actors in Bollywood. The actor-cricket duo on a spiritual trip these days. The duo has embarked on a spiritual journey in Rishikesh. The photo of the couple from Swami Dayanand Giri's Ashram went viral. Reportedly, Swami Dayanand Ji Maharaj was the ‘spiritual guru’ of PM Narendra Modi. It is to be noted that Virat has taken a break from T20Is and that’s why he is not playing in the ongoing New Zealand series.
This is not the first time the couple is often seen taking their daughter Vamika along during their spiritual trips, in the viral video the couple seen worshipping at the ashram. The actress opted for a grey anarkali suit, Virat opted for black pants and a white fluffy sweater with a shawl. As per the information the duo is likely to participate in public religious rituals at the ashram. A Bhandara will also be organized by them. Virat also obliged others at the ashram with selfie requests and posed with them.
The couple’s trip to Rishikesh comes days after they were last seen in Vrindavan. The couple visited Baba Neem Karoli's ashram and was also joined by Vamika. The couple spent time meditating at the ashram and also distributing blankets. Virat and Anushka are known to be strong believers of Baba Neem Karoli. They paid a visit to Baba Neem Karoli Ashram in Vrindavan earlier this week and stayed at the Ashram for about an hour and had ‘darshan’ of Baba's 'samadhi'.
On the work front the actress surprised everyone with her cameo in 'Qala'. She is all set for her upcoming film Chakda Xpress. The movie is directed by Prosit Roy and is a sports biopic based on the life of former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. Anushka will be seen portraying the role of a cricketer for the first time in her career. The sports drama will also premiere on Netflix.
